Head Coach Mike Lane

Michael Lane is entering his 4rd season as Head Coach of the Eagles.  Lane was born and grew up in Conway. Lane is a 2000 graduate of Kennett High School where he played Football, Baseball & Hockey.  He was captain of the first Kennett hockey team in 2000.  He graduated from New England College with a degree in Communications and a minor in History in 2004.  He was a four year starter on the baseball team there and a two year captain.  After graduating from New England College he returned to Conway and took a job with the Town of Conway in their Recreation Department.  In 2005 he began doing the play by play of Kennett Hockey games on Valley Vision Channel 3.  In the fall of 2007 Lane took over as head coach of the Eagles. The Eagles went 18-2-0 in his first season, good enough for Division III runner-up. He was named Division III Coach of the Year by his peers. In his second season behind the bench Lane led the Eagles to a 17-4-0 record and the programs first State Championship. Following the championship Lane was named Union Leader Coach of the Year for all Divisions.  Lane is currently employed as the Assistant Recreation Director for the Town of Conway.  He lives in Center Conway with his wife Kristen, one year old son Aiden James (4-12-08) and Chocolate Lab “Tek”.

Assistant Coach Peter Hall

 

Peter Hall is entering his 10th season behind the bench for the Eagles. Hall was born in Concord, MA. Hall  moved to Brunswick, Maine when he was 10.  Hall is a 1973 graduate of Brunswick High School and then attended UNH where he graduated in 1977 with a degree in business.  Hall has been has been behind the bench for the Eagles since the program gained varsity status in 2001-2002 season. His main duties behind the bench and on the ice during practice are working with the offense. Hall has lived in the Mt Washington Valley for 25 years with his wife Eileen, son Ben (Captain of 2005 team) and two daughters Anna and Catherine.  Hall has been employed by Saco Valley Insurance for 11 years.

Most Memorable Hockey Moment:   Our first trip to the finals at UNH with the Kennett Hockey Team.


 

Assistant Coach Tim Connifey

 

Tim Connifey is entering his 5th season behind the bench for the Eagles.  Connifey grew up in central New Hampshire and attended Franklin High School. Connifey then attended St. Anselm College where he graduated in 1985.  He worked for the Laconia Police Department before moving to North Conway.  Connifey’s main duties behind the bench and on the ice is to work with the defense. Connifey is currently employed by the Town of Bartlett as their Chief of Police.  He resides in North Conway with his wife Suzanne and daughter Casey.

 Favorite Hockey Player:   Milan Lucic

 Favorite TV Show:   Whatever Pete's watching.

 Favorite Movie:   Whatever Pete gives "Thumbs up".

 Favorite Foods:   Whatever Pete brings on the bus to eat.

 Most Memorable Hockey Moment:   Winning the championship last season. 

 


 

 

Assistant Coach Justin Frechette

Coach Frechette is entering his 2nd season behind the bench for the Eagles. Frechette was born and grew up in Conway NH. Frechette attended Kennett High School his freshman year before transferring to Cushing Academy where he was a three sport athlete, playing football, hockey and lacrosse. After graduation Frechette returned to Conway where he began to take over the family business, Frechette Tire.  Frechette’s main duties will be to assist coach Connifey with the defense. Frechette resides in Conway with his wife Aimee, three children, Ava Grace, Isabella Jane, and Boden Joseph along with their two dogs Riley and Barkley.

 Most Memorable Hockey Moment:   Having the winning goal scored against my team deflect off my skate in the 8th overtime in bantams at Chesire Fair Ground in Keene. Not my best moment, but most memorable.
